Program Intro
The DART Curatorial is an ongoing initiative that extends DART Magazine’s editorial vision into exhibition and spatial formats. Established in 2025, the program features curated project and site-specific installations. Each exhibition draws from DART’s editorial research and explores the relationship between publication, material practice, and curatorial thinking.

Intro
Forming, Here, Again is a solo exhibition by artist Luka Vergoz(@lukavergoz ), jointly presented by DART(@dartmagazine ) and Third Space Art Collective(@3rdspacedavis ).
Third Space Art Collective is a non-profit community art space that operates as an exhibition venue, shared studios, workshops, and an art pantry providing free materials. Its layered and fluid functions resonate with Vergoz’s process of transforming discarded matter into new forms.
Working with scraps that are byproducts of construction or casualties of time, Luka Vergoz reshapes and rearranges what has been overlooked into patterns, forms, and structures. His practice explores thresholds of becoming and unmaking: when a line becomes a shape, a shape becomes form, and texture becomes structure.
In Forming, Here, Again, Vergoz returns to Davis, where he completed his MFA before relocating to Oakland. This return reflects the exhibition’s central question: if places once left behind and past experiences are themselves discarded materials, what new forms can emerge when we gather and reshape them?
